Spending time at Sonoma Rosso this past summer was the highlight of our year. We stayed in the Guest Cottage - the accommodations were tasteful, comfortable, and well-stocked. The setting is lovely and perfect: beautiful and well-maintained landscaping, an inviting pool, and a patio perfect for both morning coffee and twilight summer dinners. There is a second rental unit — the Creekside Cottage — so if you’re traveling with friends or family, you should consider renting both units.
The Rossos have perfected the art of hosting. They know how to balance privacy with just the right amount of attention. They have a beautiful fruit and vegetable garden, and are most generous sharing the bounty which results from their efforts. The location is perfect, near wineries, food, and great hiking. After an active day, a quick swim and a grilled dinner (with local wine) are the perfect way to wind down.

This cottage is just as described and featured in the pictures. We loved the location - convenient to all Sonoma County attractions. This was our first trip to Sonoma and we rely on reviews when booking our vacations. We weren't disappointed! The cottage feels fresh and clean, is perfectly laid out and had all the little touches that make the difference when on vacation. We loved the stocked kitchen, the comfortable bed and nice linens, the en-suite bathroom and the lovely setting. The hosts are friendly and accommodating while still leaving you to your privacy. Linda and Michael were both very welcoming, and provided us with suggestions of things to do during our stay. The cottage is beautifully, thoughtfully appointed, and immaculately clean. The pool and grounds were wonderful. We're sorry that we didn't get time to enjoy the grill and the vegetables offered from the amazing garden! From the time we arrived at Sonoma Rosso, we were treated as if we were VIP’s. Our hosts Linda and Michael couldn’t have been more accommodating to our needs yet respectful of our privacy. Frankly, we were shocked at the luxury, size, cleanliness and privacy of our cottage’s accommodations. Simply amazing and a great value. The cottage has a terrific kitchen, living room and master bedroom with bath. We had our own patio with barbeque and use of a lovely pool. Our cottage is located on a beautiful private compound in the midst of California’s spectacular wine country. We had a great few days and plan on returning soon. - Matt and Ellen/Trip Advisor

Sonoma Rosso is an absolute gem! The location is perfect for visiting the quieter northern end of Sonoma, but still an easy drive to top locations throughout the valley. The back cottage was charming, clean, extremely well kept, and much larger than we anticipated. We immediately felt right at home. Linda our host was very warm, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. The property surrounding the cottage had lush gardens, large shady trees, and best of all a spectacular swimming pool! We swam in the pool most of the morning before heading out on our day's adventure. We were even gifted some summer vegetables from Linda's garden as she harvesting before we left, which were delicious! I would highly recommended staying here for a quiet romantic weekend (or week) that will make you quickly feel like a Sonoma local. We will surely be back ASAP! - Jason/Trip Advisor
This beautiful and stunning cottage is nestled in a perfect location in Kenwood. Minutes from wineries, a grocery store, yummy restaurants, and 2 small cities on either side. Linda, the owner, has thought of everything for your stay: local information, pool towels, hair dryer, kitchenware, etc. Not only is the cottage outfitted but it is decorated perfectly. A true get away! We enjoyed eating breakfast in the kitchen and drinking a glass of wine in the afternoon at the outdoor table. The pool was nice and refreshing for the hot days. We even enjoyed fresh vegetables from the garden. This place is a true gem and we will be returning! Thank you Linda for making our Anniversary unforgettable!!! - Krystal and Jeff/VRBO
